Myself Aminul Islam Apurbo, born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in October 1999. I am currently doing BSc in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in Jagannath University, Dhaka. I have completed my higher secondary studies from Notre Dame College, Dhaka.

  The 10 causes of air pollution are as follows: Air pollution is caused by both natural and man-made causes.  Man-made causes are more responsible.  Natural factors that are responsible for air pollution include volcanic eruptions, wind erosion, forest fires, pollen scattering, natural radioactivity and evaporation of organic compounds.  The following  are the 10 main causes of air pollution  : Stationary source:  These include power plants, various manufacturing plants, various types of reactors, fuel heating devices, waste incinerators, etc.  These produce large amounts of smoke, which is a major cause of air pollution in developing and poor countries.  Burning wood, crop wastes and dung also causes a lot of air pollution.   Major Outdoor Air Pollutants Carbon monoxides: Carbon monoxide (CO) is one of the major outdoor air pollutants. It is a colorless, odorless, and highly toxic gas that forms during the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing materials. Major source:  Major sources are motor vehicle exhaust, burning of forests and grasslands, tobacco smoke, and open fires and inefficient stoves used for cooking. Health effects:  CO reacts with hemoglobin in red blood cells and reduces the ability of blood to transport oxygen to body cells and tissues. Chronic exposure to CO can trigger heart attacks and aggravate lung diseases such as asthma and  emphysema . CO can also cause headache, nausea, drowsiness, mental impairment, collapse, coma, and death. Carbon dioxide : CO2 is also a colorless and odorless gas.
